BU 40 1978 Gilbert Darling house at 45 Ballou Street. Built around 1840, an excellent, well-preserved example of a medium size Greek Revival house. In the 1850's owned by Mr. Darling, a dry goods merchant. In the 1870's, was moved to the present site from South Main Street.
